CDS Salary 2024: In-Hand Salary, Structure, and Allowances

CDS ( Combined Defence Services exam ) is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for the recruitment of individuals who want to serve the nation by joining the Indian Armed Services. CDS Training Period Salary

After clearing the CDS exam the aspirants will have to undergo a training period of 18 to 19 months as per the department selected. The selected are sent to institutions like the Indian Naval Academy, Indian Air Force Academy, and Officer Training Academy. Military Allowances

The military officers are provided with allowances other than the in-hand salary, the allowance amount or type is based on the rank of the officer like lieutenant, colonel, major general, and brigadier.
