1. Balidaan Badge

The Balidaan badge is the symbol of sacrifice which is bestowed by the Para special force of the Indian Army. the badge symbolizes the wish of the army members to protect the nation irrespective of what it costs. The badge signifies the selflessness of the nation, this is defined as one of the most respected badges in the Indian Army. if an individual passes the active operation phase of one year then they are cherished with the badge.

 

 

2. Para Wing Badge

The Para Wing badge is worn by the army members on the upper right sleeve, the badge is cherished by the army members who have respectively completed their parachute course at the academy. This is one of the most respected.

 

 

3. Diving Badge

The diving badge is one of the toughest badges achieved by army members, the personnel who have completed their training for performing underwater operations are cherished with the diving badge by the Chief of the army staff. The badge is designed in silver color with a height of 1.125 inches and signifies a commando diving with one hand in the water, oxygen mask in a fn tail position.

 

 

4. Jump Indicator Wing Badge

The jump indicator wing badge can be described as a small parachute with wings on both the side and stars below the parachute. One star indicates 25 jumps, 2 stars indicate 50 jumps, and 3 stars indicate 100 jumps. The jump indicator badge is worn in the left pocket of the uniform, the badge is respectively provided to the personnel after their successful jumps during the operations.

 

 

5. Commendation card Badge

The commendation card is awarded by the Chief of the army staff to the army members who have shown their bravery in any operation and devoted their lives to the nation by taking the responsibility of protecting the country irrespective of what it takes. The card is worn above the button of the left pocket of the uniform and worn by the personnel till they are posted in the army forces.

 

 

6. Combat Free Faller Badge

The combat free faller badge is designed for the members who have completed their basic course of combat free faller. During the course, one should have completed 50 Jumps from a height of 33,500 feet. The officer should be an expert in both HALO ( High Altitude Low Opening ) And HAHO ( High Altitude High Opening) to be eligible for the combat-free faller badge which is worn above the medals.

 

 

7. Shoulder Title Badge

The shoulder titles are provided to the army members to identify their ranks in the team. There are various ranks in the Indian Army including the field marshal, General, Lieutenant General, Major General, Colonel, Lieutenant Colonel, and more. The badge is different for every post. Field marshal is the highest rank in the Indian Army, these badges are worn on the shoulder of the uniform.

 

 

8. Rashtriya Rifles Badges

The Rashtriya rifle badges consist of an Ashoka chakra and two rifles, this badge honors the members who have completed the training of three years, joined the regiment, and received 4 weeks of training at the corps battle school.
