CDS (Combined Defence Services)

CDS (Combined Defence Services) is common entrance exam for Graduate Male and Female Candidates to join Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Officers Training Academy (OTA). Our vision is to be the best CDS coaching in India base at Dehradun.

Combined Defence Services or CDS examination is conducted to recruit candidates in the Indian Armed forces. Aspirants willing to become a part of Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Officers Training Academy, and Indian Air Force Academy can apply for the CDS exam and chase their dream career, like NDA exam, Combined Defence Services Examination is conducted twice a year UPSC. Candidates will be called for Service Selection Board (SSB) after qualifying CDS exam and after that, successful candidates will be appointed with their respective training academies.

Eligibility for CDSE

  • For Indian Military Academy/Officers’ Training Academy: A degree from a recognized university or an equivalent
  • For Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering
  • For Air Force Academy: Graduation degree with Physics and Maths at the 10+2 level or a Bachelor of Engineering

Age Limits, Sex & Marital Status:

  • For IMA – Unmarried male candidates (20 – 24 years)
  • For Indian Naval Academy – Unmarried male candidates (20 – 24 years)
  • For Air Force Academy – 20 to 24 years old candidate. The upper age limit for candidates that hold a valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by the DGCA (India) is relaxed up to 26 years
  • For Officers’ Training Academy: Male candidates (married or unmarried), 20 – 24 years old
  • For Officers’ Training Academy (Women Non-Technical Course): Unmarried women, issueless widows, and issueless divorcees (20 – 24 years old)
  • At our CDS Coaching in Dehradun, we ensure that all this is transparently communicated and repeated for the candidates so that it gets ingrained.
