Gp. Capt. Alok Kumar Chatterjee, commissioned in 1983 as Pilot officer in Indian Air Force,served this prestigious organization for 34 years. In Nov. 2017 got superannuation, at the,age of 57 years. During this long service period ,he mainly was performing duties in the operations branch and in the year 2000 got posted as,an assessor member in the services selection board,Dehradun. Therefore he got posted to Varanasi selection board in 2006,as a senior assessor member. He is,a Cat AYE assessor and has,served the SSB for 8 years. He had not only been an assessor but also an instructor for the trainee assessors. He during his service tenure has participated in IPKF operations at Vavuniya in Sri Lanka.Also was,a proud participant in Kargil conflict. His Good administrative acumen, meticulous planning and execution ,resulted in winning hearts of his fellow, junior as well as senior colleagues. AOC in C SWAC ,IAF awarded commendation card ,in recognition of his services. He is a passionate personality development trainer .
